Cooperation project initiated and funded by the Swiss Cultural Programme South-East Europe and Ukraine and implemented in partnership with four cultural centres in Romania: Cultural Centre Arcus, European Cultural Centre Sinaia, Cultural Centre "George Apostu" Bacau, Cultural Centre "Rosetti Tescanu-George Enescu”

GOAL OF THE PROJECT:

OBJECTIVES:

• I.   Development of the capacity of the centres to organise residences for artists
• II.  Stimulate the creativity in contemporary arts, encourage cultural diversity, interdisciplinary approaches and artists' mobility
• III. Cultural development of the local communities due to the interaction with the resident artists
• IV. Set up of the national network of residence centres for artists
• V.  Promotion of the residence centres at national and international levels

DURATION:
3 years, April 2006 – March 2009

TASKS of the PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR:

• Coordination of the project implementation at all levels;
• Collaboration with all the partners involved and facilitation of the collaboration between the different partners;
• Informing the Steering committee about the progress of the project;
• Monitoring the project (visits on the field, participation to training sessions, meetings with the partners, meetings with the artists, participation to events);
• Writing the quarterly, yearly and final narrative and financial reports;
• Active participation to the evaluation process.
